Care and maintenance
Cleaning the cutting area: While the NV Grinder generally does not need to be cleaned, herbs that have an exceptionally high moisture content can easily stick. This is how you remove material that accumulates:
- Tap the mill lightly on a firm surface.
- Brush out anything left over with a toothbrush or other soft brush.
Exterior cleaning:
This grinder model is even washable. and will look like new after this process - no more toxic chemicals needed to ensure perfect cleaning! The cleaning brush included delivers impressive results even without water thanks to the ceramic surface.
Lubrication: Your NV Grinder is fully coated with low-friction non-stick ceramic and will not get stuck during normal use. However, if herbs are exceptionally moist, there may be slight deposits around the teeth. These can usually be brushed off using the techniques above. But if nothing else works, use refined hemp seed oil. This lubricates the grinder and makes it easy to remove deposits with a paper towel or cloth.
Use of solvents: The ceramic is very durable and it is safe to use alcohol or acetone on the coating without damaging it. However, harsh solvents can change the colour of the logo. Therefore, be careful!
