Sizes and formats

The optimal paper size depends on your rolling habits, i.e., how much you want to smoke. There are two main lengths available. However, these can vary in width. The standard is around 70mm. Long papers, such as the King Size Format, are the larger version and come in a length of up to 110mm.

All that can be said is that "Thickness A" is thicker than "Thickness B." However, there are no absolute values ​​behind these standard definitions.

Then there are definitions like slim, extra slim, fine, or classic. It should also be noted that these refer to relative thicknesses and can only be compared with other papers from the same manufacturer. If you want to know the actual thickness of the paper, you have to look at the grammage of the material, which is given in grams per square meter.

Materials

Rolling papers are made from plant materials. The most commonly used material is cellulose from forestry. However, other plants are now also being used to make papers. With society's increasing awareness of sustainability (resource conservation, pollution) and the need for improved smoking performance, alternatives have been found. These include materials such as flax, rice, industrial hemp, corn, and sugarcane. Each plant material is characterized by different burning properties and flavor differences.
