History
The Ehle family can look back on generations of glassblowers. But as far as the company is concerned, everything began in 1949 when Günther Ehle founded the "Günther Ehle Glasinstrumentenfabrik" in Limburg. Already at an early age, his son, Thomas Ehle, was fascinated by glass and thus also learned the trade of glass apparatus maker, in which he received his master craftsman's diploma in 1993.
Due to the premature death of his father, Thomas Ehle had to take over the management of the company as early as 1988. After that, it didn't take long for the first series of glass water pipes to appear on the market and consequently the successful journey of the German company began. In 2015, the company merged with the neighbouring company "Burdich Laborbedarf GmbH", which provided a new boost in innovations and creative ideas.

To be honest, Ehle has just about everything your heart desires. The standard range alone with cylinder, hollow foot, ball bong etc. includes pipes with a capacity of up to 2,000 ml and wall thicknesses of up to 7 mm. Whether straight, curved, smooth, ribbed, grooved, coloured or clear - there is something for every preference. Furthermore, a wide range of percolators ensures a milder taste and a pleasant bubbling. In addition, Ehle's ARTline offers you an individual selection of special models and limited editions.

All products are manufactured by highly qualified employees with the support of modern production technologies in our own production facility in Germany. High-quality borosilicate glass is used for each production piece according to the internationally defined DIN-ISO 3585. This abbreviation states that this type of special glass is exceptionally heat-resistant and mechanically resilient.
Every single product, no matter how big or small, is thoroughly cooled after processing so that it is sent out stress-free. Furthermore, each part is personally checked by hand before it leaves the company.
