What is dabbing?

Dabbing is the term used to describe the vaporization of extracted CBD or cannabis concentrates with a purity of 75 percent or higher. This method has only developed in recent years and experienced an absolute boom with the legalization in certain states in the USA. The trend of dabbing has not completely passed Europe by either. Slowly, more and more demand for Rosin presses, Dab Rigs and all other accessories needed to indulge in this seductive form of vaporization.

What do I need for dabbing?

Of course, a good rig cannot be complete without the right dab nail. A distinction is made here between metal and quartz. These are available in 14,5 mm and 18,8 mm cuts, although some have a universal cut that fits any dab rig.

The dabber is a thin metal or glass rod that is used to pick up the BHO from the silicone mat or container and dab it onto the hot pan. To shed some light on the matter, a Bunsen burner is needed to heat the pan or dab nail of the dab bong and bring it to the right operating temperature. In some cases, an e-nail is also used. This is a special device that heats a small metal ring, which is then placed on the dab nail and which permanently heats it to the perfect dab temperature.

So how does dabbing work?

If you have all the tools mentioned above for dabbing, you can actually get started. First, you have to load the CBD extract onto your dabber and preferably on a Dab Matte or a slightly raised object so that the BHO does not accidentally stick to the table. Then it's time to turn on the gas burner and get your dab nail to the right temperature.

It is important to note that it is not necessary to heat the dab nail to white heat, just to the point of glowing. Then you just need to wait a little until it has cooled down a bit. Next, grab your dabber again and put it in the pan of the nail. You will see how the extract slowly begins to melt and eventually runs completely into the pan. In the meantime, you should have put your lips to the dab rig and started inhaling. That's it - enjoy!
