But it also has to meet certain requirements, because it has to guarantee a good taste, be robust, pleasing to the eye and, above all, effective. According to Blaze Glass, high-end glass bongs have to fulfil the following factors: the right material and cut, the right construction and unique design and, last but not least, a strict and repeated quality control.
As already mentioned above, the bongs are made of high-quality borosilicate glass and have a wall thickness of at least 5mm, which gives the glass bongs a strong robustness. Exact standard ground joints in 14.5 and 18.8mm seal the bong perfectly. Depending on the bong geometry, the bongs are produced with normal, reinforced or bi-stable grindings.
Percolator and ice bongs offer a mild and pleasant smoking experience for the lungs when smoked with Blaze Glass Bongs, with no loss of efficiency. This is because the flow behaviour, the resulting filtration and the final cooling result in an excellent taste with full efficiency.
