Dr. Wax DME is an organic solvent (dimethyl ether) and is a sensible alternative to conventional butane gas extraction. Dimethyl ether, or DME gas for short, is ideally suited for extracting oils from plant parts. The gas should only be extracted with high-quality extractors or metal extractors. The extraction with DME is not suitable for acrylic or plastic extractors.
