Scipio Rolling Tray with Shelf

The Scipio Rolling Tray is a beautifully designed building tray with two functions: First, during building, the leaf can be placed in the channel that runs down the center of the tray for optimal filling while keeping both hands free. On the other hand, the tray serves as a base to catch all kinds of crumbs during building.

The Classic version measures 18 x 11 cm, while the Slim version measures only 18 x 8.5 cm. The main difference between the two versions is that in the Classic version the leaflet fits completely into the central groove, while in the Slim version the leaflet protrudes a few millimeters beyond the edges of the groove, making it easier to remove the leaflet from the tray after filling.

The rolling tray was printed from Basic PLA from the company Bambu Lab. The printer used for this is a Bambu Lab X1 Carbon printer.

About Scipio

The developer of the Scipio Rolling Tray originally designed the tray out of his own need: none of the rolling trays available on the market really met the requirements he himself had for such a tray. After making several prototypes from various materials, he sat down and designed the first Scipio Rolling Tray as a 3D model, which he eventually made available for download on the Internet. Since the model was very well received there, he continued to optimize it, so that today you can buy it at donaulife.
