EHLE Siebkopf ‘kleines Dornröschen’ | 18,8 mm

My father was a glassblower, like generations of Ehles before him. In 1949, he moved from Thuringia to Limburg, with a pocket full of money but full of drive and ideas, and founded the "Günther Ehle Glasinstrumentenfabrik". So I was infected with the glass virus at a young age in my parents' business, and this passion has remained until today. I learned the trade of glass apparatus maker and have had my master craftsman's certificate since 1993.

Unfortunately, my father died much too early. In 1988, I took over the management of the company and launched my first series of glass water pipes on the market shortly afterwards. After that, everything went very quickly. Today, our works are recognised all over the world. They have long been popular collectors' items, whether because of their quality or their beauty and excellent smoking behaviour.

For many years we worked as a team of two. In all that time, however, a very friendly relationship developed with the company "Burdich Laborbedarf GmbH", with whom we also still sat door to door and helped each other time and again. So what could be more obvious than getting married? This merger at the beginning of 2015 brought us all a breath of fresh air and, above all, a lot of room for new ideas.

Today, I work in a creative team of experienced glassblowers and committed young talents. A strong sales team ensures that everything runs smoothly and is always ready to listen to your concerns. We all have great fun making your wishes come true - just as we hope you do with your new EHLE.
