Filter - Indispensable for smoking pleasure

Who likes tobacco or herbal crumbs in their mouth? We certainly don't, which is why we are absolutely happy that there is now a wide selection of different filter methods available. Filters can be roughly divided into 3 different categories

• Simple paper filter/tip
• cellulose filters (cigarette filters)
• Activated carbon filter for rolling or for the pipe

Let's take a closer look at each one and look at the respective areas of application as well as the strengths and weaknesses of the individual filter variants.

paper filter or tip

A classic for all old-schoolers. Simply fold this paper filter correctly, roll it up, and you're ready to go. The filter tips are available in various widths. Some even have kinks so that nothing can go wrong when rolling them up. Our selection ranges from classic manufacturers like Raw or Marie to more sophisticated products like the Karma filters. What makes them special? They have flower seeds incorporated into the paper, so if you throw them away, you might end up planting some basil, spinach, or rosemary. Compared to paper tips, activated carbon filters are of course much easier on the lungs. But hey, we all know how it is: when you're in a hurry, it's good to at least have these little friends in your pocket!

cellulose filter or classic cigarette filter

These classic cellulose filters are probably familiar to anyone who's ever had a classic cigarette in their mouth. While we're not big tobacco fans, we still want to make rolling possible for our tobacco-loving customers. The filters are made from wood fiber and are available in various sizes. I highly recommend the Jilter cigarette filters. At 7mm thick, they're perfect for your next rolling session.

Activated carbon filter

They form the heart of our filter category! Because let's be honest, as much as we like to burn our favorite weed, it is all the more important to filter out the annoying pollutants that are produced when smoking properly. So that we can still comfortably light our cigarettes when we are older. As the name suggests, filters are filled with activated carbon granules. This ensures that over 500 toxic substances such as tar or arsenic are filtered out. How does this happen? Well, if you look at activated carbon under a microscope, you will notice that the special surface structure means that many of the pollutants stick to it and cannot get into your lungs.
