A Medwakh is a small pipe originally from the Arab world used to smoke Dokha. Dokha is an Iranian tobacco product that is mixed with aromatic leaves or herbs. The tobacco bowl is smaller than that of tobacco pipes traditionally used in the West. It is filled by dipping it into a bowl of Dokha tobacco. Dokha is smoked in the Medwakh in 2-3 puffs, and the effect is stronger than with regular cigarettes because the body absorbs more nicotine.
