The Heisenberg activated carbon filter is filled with up to 3 grams of granulated activated carbon and placed between the bong head and the smoking device. The highly absorbent activated carbon filters out irritating and harmful substances such as soot, tar, benzene and other harmful particles. Active substances and aromas are not affected and pass through the filter unhindered, so you can enjoy your bong heads without worry.

Inserting the activated carbon filter

Depending on the bong structure, the activated carbon filter is placed directly in the joint on stemless bongs or between the coupling and the head on regular models. If an activated carbon filter is used in conjunction with a pre-cooler, make sure that the smoke is first passed through the filter and then through the pre-cooler. Otherwise, the absorption capacity of the activated carbon will be impaired by the moisture in the water in the pre-cooler.

To use the activated carbon filter, you need activated carbon granules and a sieve that prevents the activated carbon from falling through the insert. You can find both here in the shop. You need sieves with a diameter of 12mm and less. Use the Heisenberg activated carbon filter 14.5 with either a 10-12mm pipe sieve, a 12mm plug-in sieve or with a Seamine 10mm glass sieve.

Note: When using a plug-in screen, the handle must be bent so that a 14.5mm bong head has unobstructed space in the cut. If you use a seamine instead, you should make sure that it is positioned in the filter in such a way that the air flow is not blocked. You can check this by pulling on the filter dry after inserting the mine.
