What is dabbing?
Dabbing is the vaporisation of extracted CBD or cannabis concentrates with a purity content of 75 percent or higher. This method has only developed in the last few years and experienced an absolute boom with the legalisation in certain states in the USA. The trend of dabbing has not completely bypassed Europe. Slowly, more and more demand is developing for Rosin Presses, Dab Rigs and all other accessories that are needed to indulge in this seductive way of vaporising.
What do I need for dabbing?
In order to start dabbing you first need a dabbong, a Dabbera Dab Nail and a Bunsen burner. In our bong shop you will find a high quality oil rig. Choice of oil rigs with or without percolator in different colours and sizes. Of course, a good rig should not be without the right dab nail. Here we distinguish between metal and quartz. These are available in 14.5 mm and 18.8 mm grinds, whereby some have a universal grind that fits every dab rig.
The dabber is a thin metal or glass rod with which the BHO is picked up from the silicone mat or container and dabbed onto the hot pan. To bring light into the darkness, a Bunsen burner is needed with which the pan or the dab nail of the dab bong is heated and brought to the correct operating temperature. In some cases, an e-nail is also used. This is a special device that heats a small metal ring, which is then placed on the dab nail and with which it is permanently heated to the perfect dab temperature.
So how does dabbing work?
Once you've got all the above tools for dabbing, you're actually ready to go. First you need to load the CBD extract onto your dabber and preferably place it on a Dab mat or a slightly elevated object so that the BHO does not accidentally stick to the table. Then it's time to fire up the gas burner and bring your dab nail to the right temperature.
It is important to note that it is not necessary to bring the dab nail to white heat, but only slightly to the edge of glowing. Then you only have to wait a short time until it has cooled down a bit. Next, grab your dabber again and insert it into the pan of the nail. You will see the extract slowly start to melt and eventually run completely into the pan. Meanwhile, you should have already put your lips to the dab rig and start inhaling. That's it - enjoy!
