Giza – History & Facts
Gizeh Raucherbedarf GmbH was founded in 1920. The company is headquartered in Gummersbach, Germany. Since 1997, the company has been part of the Dutch parent company Mignot & De Block BV. The group includes the following companies: Mignot & De Block BV in Eindhoven, Gizeh Raucherbedarf GmbH with locations in Gummersbach (headquarters) and Bergneustadt (central warehouse), the Brinkmann Raucherbedarf GmbH production facility in Bremen, and two additional production facilities in France and Austria. Today, the group is one of the three largest and leading manufacturers in the smoking supplies segment.
Gizeh – Products & Range
Gizeh's wide product range includes rolling papers, twist-in filters, filter tubes, filling and rolling machines, and a host of other accessories for those who enjoy making their own. Gizeh brand papers are available in paper weights ranging from 12 to 23,5 grams per square meter. They are made from materials such as cellulose, a flax/hemp blend, or hemp. Gum arabic or starch-based dextrin serve as a natural gum. Gizeh papers have the following burning characteristics: slow, medium, and regular burning. Some paper variants have cut corners on one long side. This makes them easier to roll.
Gizeh filter tubes are available in two versions: standard filter tubes and extra filter tubes. These two filter tubes differ in the length, diameter, or length of the filter. Standard filter tubes are 15 millimeters long, while extra filter tubes are 25 millimeters long. Filter tubes with Air Plus technology and activated carbon are also available.
But Gizeh doesn't stop at papers and filter tubes; they also offer suitable accessories for all connoisseurs of the art of rolling and filling. The majority of these are rolling filters in various diameters made from various materials, filling tools, and rollers.
