In 1959, the company Flamagas SA was founded in Barcelona. The Clipper Classic was developed in 1971. The first refillable plastic lighters were produced in 1972. Features

Stuffing aids: The ignition pin not only provides the flame but is also removable. This makes it ideal for filling hand-rolled cigarettes. The lower round end of the Clipper lighter can also be used to fill pipe bowls. This makes the lighter very popular with pipe smokers.

Tilting flame: Typically, you'll burn your fingers when tilting a lighter downward to light your bong or pipe. This is because with regular lighters, the flame shrinks and recedes. However, this tilt is necessary for both of these smoking methods. Clipper has found a solution to this problem: the tilt flame. When you tilt the Clipper lighter downward, the gas flow increases, and the flame not only becomes larger, but the flame also starts higher up.
